The Floor Store has been selling and installing quality floor covering from Main Street in West Stockbridge, Massachusetts for over thirty five years. We've been "flooring people" since 1983! When we built our building, we named it ''The Phoenix Building'' because it had burned down a year or two before we bought the space (some of you may remember it as ''Miss Ruby's Restaurant'').

At the Floor Store . . .We specialize in custom floors of all kinds: ceramic tile, prefinished wood floors (nailed, glued, and floating installations), vinyl sheet and tile floors of all types, carpeting, rugs, laminates, and commercial floors such as radial rubber tiles, sheet rubber, inlaid vinyls, and custom vinyl tiles for the discriminating taste. Since we especially like custom ceramic work, we also do walls as well as floors - such as showers, bathrooms, kitchen countertops and backsplashes with things like glass mosaics, tumbled marble, and intricate inserts both factory made and custom built to your specifications right in our workshop. Wood stove heat shields, hearths, multiple-surface combinations like ceramic tile with polished marble feature strips. Ask for the extraordinary... please!

The Floor Store prides itself in showing and offering things out of the ordinary. If you've seen something somewhere that has really caught your eye, try to take a picture of it (at least a mental picture anyway) and bring it to us.  If you saw something amazing in Manhattan or Boston …Oregon or Seattle, even Italy, Spain, Japan or India... if it's available on the market, we can probably track it down.

Our store is directly opposite the Old Town Hall on Main Street in West Stockbridge - next door to The Public Market.  We are open Tuesday through Saturday, from 9AM to 4PM. Come by on a warm summer day, sit on the balcony overlooking the peaceful Williams River and watch the trout go by. We're in the heart of the beautiful Berkshires. Many people come for a weekend and want to stay forever. And many do. They keep us busy and we're grateful for it..
